Wet n' Wild Walking on Eggshells Trio: Review and Swatches!

Once the lowest point on the pyramid of drugstore makeup brands, over the past few years Wet n' Wild has reformulated their products and come out with some amazing ones that have wormed themselves into many people's every day makeup bags. Their most popular product by far are their eye shadow trios and palettes (though their blushes have been making a wave lately too). While in Target one day, I decided to try out their most talked-about trio, Walking on Eggshells.

The trio comes with a shimmery ivory (brow bone), a dark chocolate brown (crease), and a light pinky-nude (eyelid), labeled according to where to place them on the eye for a simple, standard eye look.

The formulation is lovely--easily one of the best eye shadow formulation I've tried from the drugstore. They're buttery, pigmented, and smooth. Very comparable to higher end shadows! I also love the color selection, as these are the typical colors I wear on an every day basis. For color comparisons, the brow bone color is just like MAC Nylon, the crease color MAC Sable, and the eyelid MAC Jest. Exactly the same at a fraction of the price!

I barely pressed my fingers into the product for the swatches above. So gorgeous! The colors also have a luminosity to them that is really stunning.

The product is housed in a simple, plastic case with a flip-up lid. There is even a diagram on the back to show you exactly where to place each color.

I highly recommend these! The color selection of the line is really well rounded. They truly have something for everyone! These retail for $2-3 and are available wherever Wet n' Wild products are sold.

What's your favorite Wet n' Wild product?
xoxo
Alyssa
