I LOVE how this product is packaged. Elf's Studio line tends to be a copy-cat of the NARS packaging (which I do like very much) so there's not too much to say. It does come with a dual-ended applicator (angled brush on one side, fluffier blending brush on the other). I understand that I always complain about applicators, but this one is actually pretty great. I used it all the time on my old one, and it works really nicely.
This comes with a darker gel/wax and then a significantly lighter powder, almost like an eye shadow. I use the darker color for the inner part of my brow and use the lighter one towards the outer portion, the part that doesn't really need much filling in. To be honest, my brows aren't very scarce. I like filling them in towards the inner part (towards the center of my face) as that area isn't very full and I like the look of bolder brows.
I like how Elf decided to make this a duo, but keep each actual product in its separate tin. I hate when duos blend together over time, so this kind of packaging is preferable.

For fun, I thought I'd throw in a picture of what my old one looks like. On camera, the two colors don't look very different, but they are significantly different in person. (Unfortunately, my camera wasn't cooperating with these shots so the lighting sucks compared to the others...sorry!)

These eyebrow kits retail for $3 each and are available at Target, K-Mart, The Christmas Tree Shop, and online at Elf's website. I think they are great quality, not just for the price but in general, and would recommend picking one up if you don't like brow pencils. There are two other colors in the line that are suitable for lighter hair types.
Are you a pencil or powder person when it comes to filling in your brows? (I like both)
xoxo
